Description
The Langham Multi-Purpose Raiser can be used to raise chairs, settees or beds using a combination of its components. This particular combination of components (two main units and no clip-on height sections) is what our calculations suggest that you will need for your bed, which will raise it to a height that will make it much easier for you to get up from. The raisers fit securely on the corners of the base of the bed without the need for any tools, but we anticipate that you will need someone to help you fit them, because the bed needs to be lifted. Please note that if your bed is rigid with drawers at the side this raiser may prevent the draws from opening. The manufacturer recommends that any such draws are not used when a bed has been raised to avoid the risk of dislodging the raisers. This product takes a maximum of 500kg or 78 stone, which must include the weight of the bed. Note this product will be supplied in component form and will require self assembly. Please use the instruction leaflet supplied. N.B. If you have NOT done an assessment we are unable to tell you which products will work for you as the bed raiser you need depends on many issues including your height and detailed information about your bed. To obtain this information go to the bedroom area of the house and select the problem ‘When sitting on the edge of the bed I struggle to stand up‘. Product code: L14503x3.Helpful advice

Help with fitting
Hints and Tips for fitting bed and chair raisers
We recommend that bed or chair raisers are fitted by an appropriate fitter. Bed and chair raisers fitted incorrectly can be dangerous. If you raise a sofa or chair, we suggest that you place them with the back against a wall as it may tip when used. Please always see the manufacturer’s instructions for advice on fitting and maintaining the equipment. WARNING: Chairs and beds should only be raised using products designed for that particular purpose and item of furniture. If you raise the chair and you use a footrest, you may need to change the height of your footstools.
