The Magiplug is a unique device that alerts scalding risk and stops a bath/sink overflowing. Magiplug’s ingenious pressure release mechanism allows a bath or sink to be filled to a specific level and if the bath/sink is then left unattended, Magiplug releases excess water to prevent overflow, thus avoiding the damage and expense caused by flooding your bathroom or kitchen. The pressure release point is set to allow a bath/sink/basin to fill to a suitable level and therefore there are three versions of this product: one for baths, one for kitchen sinks and one for bathroom basins. This product is the bathroom basin version, which is not suitable for basins with a depth of less than 12.5cm (5in). In addition the heat sensitive pad on the plug changes colour when the water temperature reaches approx 36°C to alert the user that the water may be too hot, reducing the risk of scalding. Magiplug is a useful addition to any home and is especially useful for anyone who is liable to forget to turn off the taps. It attaches easily to your existing plug chain. Diameter: 7cm (3in).
