Advice on staying warm at home

It is important to keep warm in your home. The first thing to remember is to keep active and keep moving. If you feel you cannot do this alone, you should seek help from your friends, family or GP.

There are also products available to help you to stay warm such as heated throws, seat pads and seat covers. These may reduce your heating expenses and can be purchased both online and in stores. These products are not a replacement for turning the heating on however, so if you do purchase them please make sure that your room does not get too cold.

Heated throws and seat pads may also be a solution for easing back pain or general aches and pains you may be suffering from.

Also, please ensure you take care if smoking around items such as blankets and heated seat covers.
