I'm keen to give my child solids but they refuse everything I give to them

When moving to solids it's very important to take your time and let things happen naturally. Let your child play with their food a little and don’t force them to eat, they will start as soon as they are ready. It can take up to 10-15 times trying the same food before your child will accept it, so keep trying and don't force feed them. Make eating a relaxing and enjoyable experience.

Let your child eat when everyone else is eating as this will encourage them. Children often mirror what others are doing. Boundaries and routines are really good for children. It is not recommended to only use baby led weaning, so use a mixture of foods and textures.
