What about drinks for weaning?

Move from bottles to cups at 6 months. Bottles are not required after 1 year. Never let your small child fall asleep with a bottle in their mouth.

Avoid fizzy drinks, tea and coffee, or anything containing caffeine. Sticking to breast milk and formula, baby juice, milk or water is best. Cooled boiled water until 6 months. After this they can then have tap water. Bottled water is not recommended due to the sodium content.

Avoid anti stop cups which make the child suck harder to drink. Do not add rusks to bottles as this could cause choking and gagging.
